Week 2

Wow... not so good.... I started my new job this week and it kinda through me out of my routine. Add on to that that I am staying on part-time at Hobby Lobby and Wednesday was our Anniversary. So I worked Tuesday night, Beef and Boards Wednesday Night, and worked Thursday night, on top of my 40 hours at my new job this week... so needless to say, I just want to throw last week out the window! So Monday will start a new week for me and hopefully I will be able to find a routine with the new job and keeping my part-time job! See you all next week!!

Week 1

Hello! Well it has been one week and I am okay with the week it has been. On the exercise side I have successfully completed week 1 of the 8-week half-marathon program from fitnessmagazine.com. I can't say that my eating habits have improved a whole bunch but hopefully it will come along. I have cut down on the fast food which is a major improvement for me.

As far as the daily walk with God is going... that I still have a lot of improvement to do. I have been reading a book called The Gospel According to Starbucks and while I know that in no way replaces reading my Bible on a daily basis I have been learning a lot about living my Christian life on an EPIC scale...

My week has been challenging, this is my last week working Full Time at Hobby Lobby before I start my new job on Monday. I really wanted to give my best attitude and work with a great attitude this week. Well the Monday was good, I can't say Tues and Wed were my best days. I have two more days of work at Hobby Lobby this week and I want to give the best attitude I can, no matter what I'm asked to do!

So for this week my goals are to focus more on reading and spending time with God. I start my new job on Mon, it will be 8-5 Mon-Fri. I will work Tuesday night from 6-9:30ish at Hobby Lobby and Wednesday is our 3 year wedding anniversary and we are heading to Beef and Boards. So it will be a busy week but I have to remember to make time because none of these things would be possible with the Lord and His blessings!

Thanks for reading everyone! See you next week with another update!
